National Park Day Admission

On August 4th, the National Park Service is offering free entrance to U.S. National Parks in celebration of the Anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act. This free entrance pass provides a great opportunity to visit a park that normally charges an entrance fee like Yellowstone National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, and more. There are over 400 National Parks in the United States!

Veterans and Gold Star Families can receive a free Interagency Military Lifetime Pass to national parks, wildlife refuges, and other Federal lands managed by the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, US Fish and Wildlife Service, US Forest Service, and the US Army Corps of Engineers. Active-duty members of the US Military and their dependents also qualify for a free annual pass to many of these attractions. Plus, entrance fees and standard amenity recreation fees will also be waived for Active Military, Veterans, and Gold Star Families!

Before visiting a national park site, Gold Star Family members must download and print a voucher to present to park staff, exchange for an Interagency Military Lifetime Pass, or place it on the vehicle dashboard at unstaffed sites.
