The LEGO Event for Kids is a free creativity workshop that is open to children between the ages of 6 and 12. The workshop, titled ‘Celebrate Your Star Power’, is designed to help build confidence and spark creativity in young minds. The event is scheduled to take place on April 20th and 21st.
During this hour-long workshop, children will learn how to use LEGO bricks to create a special picture frame that they can take home after the workshop. The first host of this online workshop is dancer Dianne Buswell, who will demonstrate to viewers how to build a photo frame, name sign, and jewelry stand.
For those who cannot make it to the store or do not have one nearby, the workshop is also available online. All participants must sign up in advance as space is limited. Parents must accompany their children and stay for the entire duration of the session.
Additionally, the LEGO website also has a bookmark feature for the Creativity Workshop webpage, allowing interested participants to easily find future builds. Upcoming workshops will have themes around space, gaming, and imagination.
