Lowe’s is hosting a fun, free craft event for kids in June. This event, scheduled for June 15th from 10 am to 1 pm, is a wonderful opportunity for kids to build a Father’s Day UTV. The UTV (Utility Terrain Vehicle) is a miniature model that kids can assemble with their fathers. The vehicle features movable wheels and a customizable design, making it a hands-on adventure that celebrates the spirit of exploration and outdoor fun. This Father’s Day UTV is sure to create lasting memories.
DIY Kids’ Workshops are held on the second Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. to noon. Each project kit takes about 15-30 minutes to complete. Lowe’s Home Improvement stores offer these free model kits for kids to build. Children are given a free apron, merit badge, and more. The DIY Kids workshop now has a program where your child can advance at each craft event and get even more free stuff!
Each workshop is an opportunity for kids to develop their DIY building skills under the expertise of Lowe’s DIY Kids’ Workshop Captains. From wooden bird feeders to fire trucks, each month highlights a different project complete with a free apron, project merit patch, goggles, and all the materials needed.
Parents and/or guardians can register by visiting the Lowe’s website. Registration is free and online registration for each workshop opens approximately one month prior to the in-store workshop date, while supplies last. All workshop participants must register.
