Home Depot is offering a free Father’s Day Craft Kit for kids in June. This initiative is part of their monthly program where they provide a new free craft kit to kids. The kit for June is a DIY Grill Gift Card Box, which is a perfect gift for Father’s Day. Some Home Depot stores allow online registration for these free workshops, and the instructions can also be downloaded online. It’s recommended to check with your local store to see if you need to register ahead of time or if you can just stop by.
Children who attend these workshops also receive a free apron and a patch or other completion reward. If you can’t make it to your store, you can pick up the free children’s workshop kits at your Home Depot. However, it’s advised to call or check online for registration information for your location. These free kits are available on the first Saturday of the month, from 9 a.m to Noon local time. Registration is required. In some cases, you may be able to register in-store, but they do fill up fast and there’s a limited number of kits. Therefore, it’s safer to register online on the Home Depot website.
If your local store runs out of the free kit, they always have the option to buy them for $4.98. This initiative is part of the collaboration between The Home Depot, Science Fair Central, and Discovery Education to help STEAM power classrooms and homes across the country as students prepare for the careers of tomorrow. Science Fair Central, built by The Home Depot, aims to give students the tools to take their projects to the next level.
