The Killeen Mall in Texas is hosting a unique event called the ‘Braid-A-Thon’. This event is organized by the Monai Beauty Co. and is aimed at providing free braids to children in the community as they prepare to go back to school. This is the fourth year that this event is being held, and it has become a much-anticipated event in the community.
The event is scheduled to take place on a Sunday, and the organizers aim to serve at least 100 children, or more if time permits. A team of about 30 stylists from various salons will be volunteering their time and skills for this cause. The event will start in the morning and will continue until 4 PM.
There is no registration process to participate in this program. Those interested are asked to arrive at the Killeen Mall early. The first 100 in line will receive a ticket starting at 9 AM. Those who do not receive a ticket can still stay and be added to the waitlist. However, there is no guarantee that they will be able to receive the complimentary service.
