Participants are required to bring their own bag or container to carry the plants. The event is open to Montreal CDN-NDG residents only, so make sure to mark your calendars. The plants available for the giveaway include a sweet red pepper plant and a cucumber plant, both of which require sun for optimal growth.
In addition to the free plants, compost and wood chips will also be available for self-service. These are intended for residential use only, with a limit of 25 L per address. Participants are reminded to bring their own shovel and containers for the compost and wood chips.
