The Hockey Diversity Alliance announces the inaugural HDA WinterFest during the All-Star Weekend. This event is a celebration of diversity in Canada’s National Pastime and it launches in 2024. The WinterFest offers a day of hockey, entertainment, and community spirit with outdoor and indoor games. It also features a skills competition and food offerings from Toronto’s culinary scene.
Attendees will have the chance to cheer on their favourite players from the lively fan zone, savour the diverse flavours of Toronto’s food scene at the on-site food trucks, and win amazing prizes while supporting the organization. Other highlights include a celebrity hockey match featuring world-renowned music producer Paul “Nineteen85” Jefferies, Canadian actor, Jarod Joseph, Luke Wilson, and many others. There will also be youth ice and ball hockey competitions, and an exhilarating hockey skills showcase throughout the day.
